Terms of Use

These Terms of Use set out the rules for using Store Radar. Store Radar is provided by [Company Legal Name] FZE, a company registered in the United Arab Emirates under trade licence [License No.], with its address at Sharjah Publishing City, Sharjah, UAE. About these terms

In these terms, "we", "us" and "our" mean [Company Legal Name] FZE. "You" means the business that uses Store Radar, and the people it allows to use its account. "Your store" means your online store on Shopify or WooCommerce.

Store Radar is a service for businesses, not consumers. If you accept these terms for a company, you confirm you have the authority to do so.

These terms work together with our Privacy Policy and Disclaimer. If we agree anything different with you in writing, that agreement applies where it differs.

The service

Store Radar is a web app that helps owners of online stores understand their store and decide what to do next. It reads your store data from Shopify or WooCommerce on a read-only basis and never changes anything in your store. If you give access, it can also read Google Analytics 4, Google Search Console, Google Ads and Meta Ads, read-only.

It turns this data into reports and advice cards, sends you emails and alerts, and can prepare WhatsApp links that you open and send yourself. Optional features include a journey tracker for your store, private task links for your staff ("workers"), a paid "Ask me" box and market insights. Our page "How we handle your data" explains each one.

We set up all technical connections for you. The only thing you may need to add yourself is the journey tracker script, if you choose to use it.

Accounts and access

You must give us correct details when you sign up and keep them up to date.

Keep your sign-in details private. You are responsible for what happens in your account, including anything your staff do. Tell us at once at privacy@yourdomain.com if you think someone has used your account without permission.

Worker links show only the tasks assigned to that worker. Treat them like passwords. You can ask us to cancel a worker link, or remove any connection, at any time.

We may suspend access if we reasonably believe your account is misused or at risk. Where we can, we will tell you first.

Your responsibilities

You are the controller of your customers' personal data. We process it for you, as your processor. This means you are responsible for how that data is collected and used. In particular, you agree to:

Fees and packs

Fees for Store Radar, and for "Ask me" question packs, are agreed with you separately. We will always tell you the price before you pay.

For now, you pay by bank transfer or through a payment link we send you. Payments are not handled inside the app.

Payment terms, including any refunds, are those we agree with you. If nothing else is agreed, fees are paid in advance and are not refundable, except where the law requires a refund. "Ask me" questions are used up as you ask them.

Prices do not include VAT unless we say so. We may change prices for future periods after telling you in advance. If a payment is late, we may pause the service after telling you.

Market insights

Market insights use anonymous, aggregated numbers from all stores, never names, customers, products or store names. You can opt out in Settings at any time. It works on a "give to get" basis: stores that opt out do not receive market insights.

Availability and changes to the service

We work to keep Store Radar available and working well, but we cannot promise it will always be available or free of errors. We may need to pause it for maintenance, updates or reasons outside our control.

We may improve, change or remove features. If a change removes something important that you pay for, we will tell you in advance where we can. If your store platform or another service is down or changes how it works, parts of Store Radar may stop working until we fix them.

Third-party services

Store Radar works with services run by other companies, such as Shopify, WooCommerce, Google, Meta, WhatsApp, DataForSEO, our hosting provider, our email provider and our AI provider. Their own terms and policies apply to your use of their services.

We are not responsible for how these services work, for their downtime, or for errors in the data they give us.

Intellectual property

We own Store Radar, including its software, design, text, advice rules and built-in wording. We give you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use it for your own business while your account is active.

You own your store data. You allow us to use it only to provide and support the service for you, to improve the service, and, in anonymous and aggregated form only, for market insights as described above.

You may not resell Store Radar or offer it to others.

Advice and results

Advice cards are estimates based on your store's own data. They are not financial, legal or tax advice. You decide what to do and you are responsible for your actions. We do not guarantee any result. Please read our Disclaimer.

Limitation of liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under UAE law, such as liability for fraud or wilful misconduct.

Subject to that, we are not liable for:

Our total liability to you for all claims connected with Store Radar is limited to the fees you paid us in the 3 months before the event that led to the claim.

You are responsible for claims from your customers or others that arise from how you collect or use customer data, or from messages you send.

Ending the service and deleting your data

You can stop using Store Radar at any time. You can ask us to disconnect your store and delete all your data from Store Radar at any time, using the button in the app or by emailing privacy@yourdomain.com. We then remove the connections and delete your data in one step.

We may end the service with reasonable notice, or at once if you seriously breach these terms.

When the service ends, we delete your store data from Store Radar. We keep billing and payment records for as long as the law requires. Anonymous, aggregated market figures, which cannot identify you or your store, are not affected.

Fees already paid are not refunded when the service ends, unless we agreed otherwise or the law requires it. The sections on intellectual property, liability and governing law continue after the service ends.

Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, as applied in the Emirate of Sharjah. The courts of Sharjah have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute about these terms or Store Radar.

Before going to court, please contact us so we can try to solve the problem together.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the current version. If a change is important, we will tell you by email or in the app before it applies. If you keep using Store Radar after that, you accept the new terms.

If any part of these terms cannot be enforced, the rest still applies.
